Book Review: Just Listen
Sarah Dessen is officially a genius. This is the 2nd book I have read by her and even though the books tend to follow the same plot line(girl has problem, meets boy, boy solves problem, they get in some sort of fight, meet romantically, fall in love) each one has a deep underlying message. In Just Listen the book revolves around Annabel Greene, a girl who has recently been publicly humiliated by her ex-best friend leaving her lonely and broken. That is until she meets Owen Armstrong the big burly, music obsessed boy who thrives on always telling the truth. Sarah Dessen has a brilliant writing style, and teaches you life lessons through her book. I am about to start on someone like you and hope that it is half as good as the last two books I have read.
