J is for Judging books by their covers

I am really bad about this because every time I book I see the cover, The title fades away and everything on the cover stands out! It is really bad to because I have read a couple of really great books with pathetic covers. Anyway i have a short post today because I am going to post my review in The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks!

See ya!

  1. Personally, I think telling someone to never judge a book by its cover when you mean that you don't want them to judge a person by their appearance. Because, to some degree, we have to judge a book by its cover! lol I really think cover design has come a long way since that particular saying originated, though. And walking into a bookstore has become a feast for the eyes. But then, I really love books, so that might just be me...:)

  3. Covers will often catch my eye and entice me to investigate a book, but the description and some samples from inside are what cinches the deal for me usually.
I am going to mention your blog on my Wed 4/14 post.

  4. When I am browsing, it is often the cover that compels me to pick up a book, read the blurb, read the first couple of pages and decide whether or not to read the book.
I don't exactly judge a book by its covers, but the cover plays a role in how I evaluate a book.
