Summer Break Reading Challenge #4

For the summer break reading challenge #4 we are doing a scavenger hunt!!! I must find the following items on this list:

1. A blog that is new to you that focuses on the same type of literature you do (ex: I read YA so the blog would need to focus on YA).
2. A book that is new to you that another blogger reviewed.
3. A book set in Africa (in your preferred age category, if possible).
4. A book about a human/animal bond (in your preferred age category, if possible).
5. A book trailer for a book you want to read.
6. A book with a color in the title (in your preferred age category, if possible).
7. A blog that is new to you that is dedicated to a certain genre (ex: only books about vampires, only historical fiction, only urban fantasy, etc.)
8. A book blog maintained by a librarian.
9. A book blog maintained by a teacher.
10. The title of an upcoming book by an author you like (provide details - title, release date, synopsis).

Here is what I found:
1. I found this great blog called... The Perpetual Page- Turner!!
2. Over at  The Lady Critic's Library there was a review for a book titled Bitten by Kelley Armstrong.
3. I found a book called A Girl Named Disaster which is set in two places in Africa.
4.  The only thing that comes off the top of my head is The Golden Compass which I haven't read... but I saw the movie.
5. I really want to read Sister's Red so here is the book trailer

6. I guess the book I did counts above because Sister's Red has the word Red in it!
7. I found this great blog called Suburban Vampire that looks very dedicated to vampires!
8. The Book Jacket is maintained by a librarian.
9. Confessions of the Un- Published is maintained by a teacher.
10. I am flipping out because Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick is coming out November 16th!!!!!!!!
Here is everything you need to know:
Nora should have know her life was far from perfect. Despite starting a relationship with her guardian angel, Patch (who, title aside, can be described anything but angelic), and surviving an attempt on her life, things are not looking up. Patch is starting to pull away and Nora can't figure out if it's for her best interest or if his interest has shifted to her arch-enemy Marcie Millar. Not to mention that Nora is haunted by images of her father and she becomes obsessed with finding out what really happened to him that night he left for Portland and never came home.
The farther Nora delves into the mystery of her father's death, the more she comes to question if her Nephilim blood line has something to do with it as well as why she seems to be in danger more than the average girl. Since Patch isn't answering her questions and seems to be standing in her way, she has to start finding the answers on her own. Relying too heavily on the fact that she has a guardian angel puts Nora at risk again and again. But can she really count on Patch or is he hiding secrets darker than she can even imagine?

There you go!
