Wannabe Writers

Where I am in the writing process: I didn't write this week because I jumped from sports camp to sports camp, but I did plan out like a gazillion different scenes.
My current problem: I am just in need of motivation. I have it all in my head but I'm having problems putting it down on paper.
This week's question: Do you carry a writing journal around? Do you believe jotting down the ideas as they come is the best way? I mean if I don't get it all out now will it be lost forever?
Answer: I think you should but I don't all the time. So, I often forget many ides.

Sorry short post watching movie soon.

  3. I like the changes, looks good, but I liked what you had before as well! mmmh, I do tend to jot ideas down. I also find reading a few pages at random in a book, will snap my out of a mood.
Walking seems to help motivation and do you write
the Morning pages? Julia Cameron in the book, "The Artist's Way" suggest we write 3 pages in the morning, no editing, just let it flow. It frees your mind, then you can get to other ideas. Also an art date, every week if you can fit it in!

  4. LOVE the new look on the blog! This is a fantastic layout, so clear.
I carry a journal around constantly. I scribble tons of random little thoughts down, and just having something on paper to go from helps get the scary blank page problem out of my way (usually).
I definitely recommend picking up a cheap notebook or a portable little moleskin and seeing if that works for you.
